Enjoy a creamy and nutritious Carrot Cake Smoothie that combines the delightful flavors of carrots, bananas, and Greek yogurt. Perfect for breakfast, a snack, or dessert, this smoothie is packed with wholesome ingredients and spices, making it a deliciously healthy treat!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 medium carrot, peeled and chopped
  • 1 ripe banana, frozen
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Start by peeling and chopping the medium carrot into small pieces for easier blending.
  2. Peel the ripe banana. If using a frozen banana, it will add creaminess; if fresh, slice it and prepare to add ice cubes later.
  3. Gather all other ingredients: almond milk, Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, spices, chia seeds, and vanilla extract.
  4. In your blender, add the chopped carrot as the base of your smoothie.
  5. Add the frozen banana (or fresh banana with ice cubes).
  6. Pour in 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk for a smooth blend.
  7. Add 1/2 cup of Greek yogurt for creaminess and protein.
  8. If desired, drizzle in 1 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup for sweetness.
  9. Sprinkle in 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon of ground ginger, and 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg for flavor.
  10. Add 1 tablespoon of chia seeds for nutrition.
  11. Include 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract for extra flavor.
  12. If using, toss in ice cubes.
  13. Secure the lid and blend on high speed for 30-60 seconds until smooth. Adjust consistency with more almond milk if needed.
  14. Taste the smoothie; add more sweetener if desired and blend again briefly.
  15. Pour into a tall glass or mason jar. Garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon or chia seeds if desired.
  16. Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious carrot cake smoothie!
