Description

This Coconut Milk Brazilian Lemonade is a refreshing blend of zesty lime juice, creamy coconut milk, and sweetened condensed milk, perfect for hot days or festive occasions. Serve it chilled over ice, garnished with lime slices and mint leaves for a delightful treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh squeezed lime juice (about 46 limes)
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup coconut milk (canned or carton)
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • Ice cubes
  • Lime slices (for garnish, optional)
  • Mint leaves (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Roll the limes on a countertop to soften them, then cut in half and juice using a citrus juicer. Strain the juice through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds and pulp.
  2. Shake or stir canned coconut milk to combine. Measure out 1 cup. For a lighter version, use coconut milk from a carton.
  3. Measure 1 cup of sweetened condensed milk and 1/2 cup of granulated sugar. Adjust sugar based on your sweetness preference.
  4. In a large pitcher, mix the fresh lime juice, sweetened condensed milk, and coconut milk until creamy and smooth.
  5. Gradually stir in 4 cups of cold water until well mixed.
  6. Taste the mixture and add granulated sugar if desired, stirring until dissolved.
  7. Cover the pitcher and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  8. Stir the mixture again before serving.
  9. Fill tall glasses with ice cubes.
  10. Pour the chilled mixture over the ice, filling each glass about three-quarters full.
  11. Garnish with lime slices and mint leaves for a beautiful presentation.
  12. Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing Coconut Milk Brazilian Lemonade!
