Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice each bagel in half horizontally.
  3. Place the bagel halves on a baking sheet, cut side up. Brush the cut sides lightly with olive oil if desired.
  4. If using store-bought pizza sauce, pour it into a bowl. For homemade, combine crushed tomatoes, a pinch of salt, pepper, and a sprinkle of oregano in a saucepan and simmer for about 10 minutes.
  5. Chop any vegetables you want to use, such as bell peppers, onions, or mushrooms. Slice or crumble any meats like pepperoni or sausage.
  6. In a small bowl, mix the dried oregano and garlic powder.
  7. Spread a generous amount of pizza sauce on each bagel half.
  8. Sprinkle a layer of shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  9. Add your favorite toppings evenly across the cheese.
