- 1 cup fresh lime juice (approximately 6–8 limes, depending on size)
- 1 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- 8 cups cold water, plus more for adjusting consistency

- Fresh mint sprigs, for garnish (optional)

Instructions
- Prepare the Guavas: Wash, peel, and roughly chop the guavas.
- Blend the Guavas: Place chopped guavas and 1 cup of cold water into a blender.
- Blend Until Smooth: Blend until completely smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.
- Strain the Puree (Optional): Strain the guava puree through a fine-mesh sieve for a smoother texture.
- Juice the Limes: Juice the limes to get 1 cup of fresh lime juice.
- Combine Lime Juice and Sugar: In a large pitcher, combine the lime juice and sugar.
- Stir Until Sugar Dissolves: Stir vigorously until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Add the Guava Puree: Pour the guava puree into the pitcher with the lime juice and sugar mixture.
- Add the Remaining Water: Add the remaining 7 cups of cold water to the pitcher.
- Stir Well: Stir everything together thoroughly.
- Taste and Adjust: Taste and adjust the sweetness and tartness to your liking by adding more sugar, lime juice, or water.
- Adjust Consistency: Add more water until you achieve your desired consistency.
- Chill Thoroughly: Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
- Prepare Your Glasses: Fill glasses with ice cubes.
- Pour the Limeade: Pour the chilled guava limeade over the ice.
- Garnish (Optional): Garnish with lime wedges, guava slices, and mint sprigs.
- Serve Immediately: Serve and enjoy!
