Notes

  • Use ripe guavas for the best flavor.
  • Adjust the sweetness to your preference.
  • For a spicy kick, add a pinch of chili powder or jalapeño slices to the guava puree.
  • Make it sparkling by substituting some of the water with sparkling water or club soda.
  • Experiment with adding other fruits like strawberries, mangoes, or pineapple.
  • To make it a cocktail, add a shot of white rum or tequila to each glass.
  • Infuse with herbs like basil or rosemary for a more complex flavor.
  • Pour the guava limeade into popsicle molds and freeze for a refreshing summer treat.
  • If you can’t find fresh guavas, you can use frozen guava pulp.
  • Guava limeade is best enjoyed fresh, but you can store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
