Ingredients
Scale
- 4 cups water
- 4 green tea bags
- 2 ripe peaches, pitted and sliced
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons)
- 1/2 cup honey or agave syrup (adjust to taste)
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
- Peach slices for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Boil 4 cups of water in a medium saucepan. Once boiling, remove from heat and add the green tea bags. Let steep for 5-7 minutes, then remove the bags and cool the tea to room temperature.
- Pit and slice the peaches. Blend the slices in a blender or food processor until smooth. Optionally, strain through a fine mesh sieve for a smoother texture.
- In a large pitcher, combine the cooled green tea, peach puree, and fresh lemon juice. Stir in honey or agave syrup until fully dissolved. Adjust sweetness to taste. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Fill glasses with ice cubes. Pour the chilled peach green tea lemonade over the ice, filling each glass about three-quarters full.
- Garnish with fresh mint leaves and peach slices if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- For a fizzy twist, add a splash of sparkling water or club soda just before serving.
- Experiment with other fruits like strawberries or raspberries for different flavor variations.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, stirring before serving.
