  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Add the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions (6-8 minutes) until al dente.
  3. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop cooking. Set aside.
  4. In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  5. Sauté the chopped onion for 2-3 minutes until translucent.
  6. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
  7. Increase heat to high, add ground beef, and cook until browned (5-7 minutes), stirring occasionally.
  8. Drain excess fat from the skillet.
  9. Add julienned carrots, sliced bell pepper, and broccoli florets to the skillet.
  10. Stir and cook for about 5 minutes until vegetables are tender but crisp.
  11. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, ground ginger, and black pepper.
  12. Pour the sauce over the beef and vegetable mixture. Stir to coat evenly.
  13. Add the cooked egg noodles and gently toss to combine.
  14. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
  15. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  16. Remove from heat and serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
