  • Author: Dottie
  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 9 servings 1x

Description

Enjoy a no-bake S’mores dessert featuring a crunchy graham cracker crust, a rich chocolate layer, and toasted marshmallows. This easy-to-make treat captures the classic campfire flavor, perfect for gatherings or a cozy night in!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup milk chocolate bars, broken into pieces
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, and salt. Stir until well mixed.
  2. Pour in the melted butter and vanilla extract. Using a fork or your hands, mix until the crumbs are evenly coated and the mixture resembles wet sand.
  3. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch pie dish or a square baking pan. Make sure to create an even layer, as this will be the base of your S’mores dessert.
  4. Bake the crust in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes. Once done, remove it from the oven and let it cool completely.
  5. In a medium saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it just begins to simmer. Be careful not to let it boil.
  6. Once the cream is hot, remove it from the heat and add the semi-sweet chocolate chips. Stir continuously until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth and glossy.
  7. Pour the chocolate mixture over the cooled graham cracker crust, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
  8. Sprinkle the mini marshmallows evenly over the chocolate layer.
  9. Preheat your broiler on high. Make sure your oven rack is positioned about 6 inches from the heat source.
  10. Place the dessert under the broiler for about 1-2 minutes, keeping a close eye on it.
  11. Once they are toasted to your liking, remove the dessert from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
  12. If you like, break up some milk chocolate bars and sprinkle them over the top for extra chocolatey goodness.
  13. For an added crunch, sprinkle some crushed graham crackers over the marshmallows.
  14. Let the dessert cool completely at room temperature, or refrigerate it for about 30 minutes to help it set further.
  15. Once the dessert is fully set, use a sharp knife to cut it into squares or wedges.
  16. Serve the S’mores dessert on a plate, and drizzle some melted chocolate over the top or serve it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side.
  17. Enjoy your delicious homemade S’mores dessert with friends and family!
  18. If you have any leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
