  • 4 cups sparkling water (chilled)
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves (for garnish)
  • Yuzu slices (for garnish)
  • Lemon slices (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Wash the yuzu fruits thoroughly under running water.
  2. Cut each yuzu in half and juice them using a citrus juicer or reamer until you have about 1 cup of fresh yuzu juice.
  3. Repeat the process with the lemons to obtain 1 cup of fresh lemon juice.
  4. In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of granulated sugar with 1 cup of water.
  5. Heat over medium, stirring until the sugar dissolves (about 3-5 minutes).
  6. Remove from heat and let cool.
  7. In a large pitcher, mix the yuzu juice and lemon juice.
  8. Add the cooled simple syrup, starting with half and adjusting to taste.
  9. Pour in the chilled sparkling water and stir gently.
  10. Fill tall glasses with ice cubes.
  11. Pour the lemonade over the ice, filling each glass about three-quarters full.
  12. Garnish with fresh mint leaves, yuzu slices, and lemon slices.
